Picture a distorted mirror world reflecting the exploits of Vitalik Buterin and as the mist clears you may just glimpse these weird and wonderful fantasy multiverse personifications of the man himself, reflections of the disruptive, speculative, futurist, playful nature of his public persona.

Since discovering crypto I have been very much inspired by Vitalik and his unique approach and philosophy on the subject of decentralised currency & finance, I believe it has far reaching implications and the potential to change the way things are done around here in a positive sense. I shaped the base of his T-shirt like a little Ghost, maybe because I’m Spectr, but also because I picture his accomplishments with blockchain technology lasting on through the decades and one might say that Vitalik could become, as Satoshi Nakamoto has, a kind of ‘ghost in the machine’ of the future webiverse and financial infrastructures.
This was the original portrait sculpt I created of Vitalik Buterin which this series grew from.
This is where I started having some real fun creating fantasy variants of Vitalik portraying him in aspects of dark and light alike.

In Phase 2 I Merged the raw elements of two pairs of Phase 1 Vitalik Variants, blending equal parts light and dark energy to create more complex and nuanced variations (in preparation for the final conjunction, the breeding of the 3rd and final Phase Vitaliverse Variant). Yevgeny Zamyatin said that Heretics are the only bitter remedy against the entropy of human thought. Both bitter and sweet I would say, after all, one man's demon is another man's angel. This is a continuing playful celebration of Vitalik Buterin's public persona, an unlikely heretic-hero of the modern age.

SHARDED BLACK METAL ELEMENTAL VITALIK (left) - Maintaining clarity of intent as the sharding energy rises to fever pitch is a delicate balance. When the Sharding Elemental reaches these critical levels of power it becomes increasingly strenuous to maintain equilibrium. Now bred with the Black Metal energy this combined Vitalik Variant is unleashed and warping wild energies around it, forming arcane shard structures in the blackened skies, quickening the ascent to some mythical far future voidscape.

EVIL GENIUS DISRUPTED VITALIK (right) - This Vitalik combo is running on all four cylinders, now powerfully divergent and able to see many potential futures snaking out from the present, no longer purely evil but a more refined chaos.
The ALPHA VITALIK is the final conjunction - formed in the depths of the ether as the magnetic energies and cosmic orbits of both Phase 2 Vitaliks merged their traits over countless micro millenia - this god tier being has attained pure equilibrium in the twilight skies of the ether, riding atop the sacred Alpacacorn Alpha Vitalik maintains the fine balance between order & chaos through sheer will and ethereal programming abilities - witness the forces within.
